Open Door Design and its projects remain under active development, but the work is not hidden behind a construction sign. All current learning content, labs, demonstrations, and applications are available for people to explore, use, test, and critique.
Some experiences are mature, while others are still revealing what they may become. Feedback from disabled users, accessibility professionals, educators, developers, testers, and curious visitors helps shape every next step.

The Academy provides the complete five-domain CPACC learning experience, while the Lab reinforces that learning through screen-reader-first practice, challenge activities, and keyboard interaction.

The Academy teaches WCAG 2.2 through structured lessons, examples, testing techniques, and remediation guidance. The Lab turns that instruction into practical barrier recognition, evaluation, and finding-writing practice.

Dino the Workflow Guide: Accessibility grows through practical work and shared feedback.
The project began as the Media Workflow Assistant and is evolving into a plain-language assistant for accessibility goals across media and beyond. It is nowhere near its full potential, and new capabilities will be exposed as they become usable.
Dino the Recording Guide: Professional recording should not depend on vision.
A professional audio recording environment designed from the ground up for keyboard and screen reader users. Version 1.0 is available online and as an installable Windows application. For a limited time, the Windows version is yours to download and keep at no cost. A future Pro edition is planned.
Dino the Capture Guide: Screenshots and screen recordings should be possible without a mouse.
Coming soon: an accessible Windows tool for taking screenshots and recording the screen with keyboard-first controls and screen reader support. A future Pro edition is also planned.
Open Door Design is still becoming what it was meant to be. Some ideas will grow into widely used tools. Some will inspire future innovations. Some will simply teach us a better way to build.
