The Open Door Design Community
A place to learn, contribute, test ideas, share lived experience, and help build technology that works for more people.
Open Door Design is built in public, and the Community is how that work becomes a conversation instead of a broadcast. Members follow new work, test what is being built, and help shape what Open Door Design becomes next.
Why join the Community?
Community members can follow new work as it is built, participate in testing with their own assistive technology, explore educational resources, share accessibility feedback, and connect with projects that match their interests.
Screen reader users, keyboard users, low vision and magnification users, voice input users, Deaf and hard of hearing community members, developers, designers, educators, and curious visitors are all welcome.
Ways to participate
- Learn through the Accessibility Academy.
- Test Innovation Lab projects with real assistive technology.
- Share screen reader, keyboard, low vision, cognitive, hearing, or other accessibility perspectives.
- Join research and collaboration opportunities.
- Volunteer or explore a partnership with Open Door Design.
