Community Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Community registration information is collected and used. Version 2026-07-30.
Information collected
Registration collects a first name, last name, and email address. Interests, accessibility perspectives, participation preferences, and a personal introduction are optional.
How information is used
Information is used to communicate with community members, understand areas of interest, invite participation in relevant projects, and improve Open Door Design programs.
What Open Door Design will not do
Open Door Design will not sell community information or use it for unrelated advertising.
Sensitive information
Community members should not submit medical records, financial information, passwords, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information.
Storage and access
Registration information is stored securely and access is limited to people who need it for community operations. Accessibility perspectives are treated as more sensitive than other responses and are not included in routine exports or broad communications.
Choices and corrections
Community members can request correction or deletion of their information and can change communication preferences at any time by contacting Accessibility@OpenDoorDesign.org.
